Home Made in America

It’s been a busy couple of months. We had Sunny Anderson with Food Network come to the house to film an episode of her new show Home Made in America. It will be airing on Food Network on Saturday, November 10th, at 8:30 am Central Time. Be sure and try to catch this episode.

Sunny was a hoot to work with as was all of her crew. They showed up on Thursday, September 13th and spent the day filming. We served the crew some BBQ, imagine that LOL, and Andes Mint Chocolate Cheesecake. They left full and ready to come to Ponca City to shoot the rest of the show.

We received a text from our daughter, Mikee, late that evening wanting to know if we could talk. Well we called, and sure enough she was in labor. So we headed to the hospital and on Friday, September 14th, we welcomed our last grandchild and only granddaughter Audrey Davis Miller into the world at 6:00 that evening. We celebrated for a bit, and then headed back to the house to grab what we needed and jumped into the RV to head to Ponca City. We arrived a little after 1:00 on Saturday morning.

Sunny and crew showed up Saturday morning about 9:00 and continued to shoot more for the episode. It was a lot of fun, and we hope everyone enjoys it. We are finishing up our year, hopefully with a bang. We are currently in Harrison, AR and then are off until Demopolis, AL. We haven’t had our best year, but it wasn’t our worst either.

We are doing our Lotta Bull “U” class in Flint, MI on the weekend of November 9-10. Registration is open until November 8th at 6 PM. Go to the website of www.glbbqa.com to register. Hope to have good news to share for our upcoming 2013 Tour. Keep watching for some exciting news.
